Energy Arbitration in an Age of Global Instability
4 Jun 16:30 - 18:00
A panel event exploring hot topics and trends in the arbitration of energy disputes. Instability in the geopolitical, commercial, legal and regulatory context in which the energy industry operates has given rise to significant disputes in recent years. Our panellists will explore some of the most prominent recent disputes in the energy sector, with particular focus on LNG and long-term gas supply agreements, and will consider the issues arising and potential future implications for the arbitration of disputes in the energy sector. They will also consider jurisdictional conflicts, injunction battles and related considerations regarding enforcement against available assets.
