A panel discussion exploring the new EU legal remedies available to EU operators for damage caused by third country court proceedings or specified Russian decisions, whether by state actors or private parties. The session will aim to demystify this relatively under explored but increasingly significant remedy, and the implications of the absence of any corresponding UK remedy to date.

The discussion will provide practical guidance on:

• how the EU remedies are intended to work in practice,

• the experience to date,

• how they interact with other remedies invoked in the evolving landscape of sanctions related disputes.
