Pro Bono – Preventing and Addressing Climate Change and Environmental Harms

5 Jun 14:00 - 15:30

Environment, Human Rights

This panel brings together leading legal charities, solicitors, and barristers to discuss how practitioners are using the law to combat issues around climate change and environmental harms across the globe. The panel will explore key international law and arbitration trends in this area and discuss inequalities in accessing advice and representation for those affected by climate justice issues.

Panel members will also spotlight practical examples of pro bono work and opportunities for individuals and firms to get involved, and attendees will receive a booklet highlighting climate justice initiatives happening across the sector. After the panel discussion finishes, attendees have an opportunity to network with a range of individuals working in this space.
