Registration and breakfast refreshments: 9am

Session starts: 9.30am

Finish: 10.30am

Venue: The Wilberforce Building, 77-78 Chancery Lane, London, WC2A 1AE

A cross-jurisdictional panel discussion examining how different legal systems respond to fraud, asset dissipation, and insolvency-linked misconduct in an increasingly interconnected global environment. The session brings together practitioners from key jurisdictions to compare the effectiveness of legal remedies, interim relief, investigative powers and insolvency tools used to trace, freeze, and recover assets across borders in complex cross-border disputes.

The discussion will focus on practical and experience-driven insights into how courts and practitioners approach multi-jurisdictional disputes, including the procedural nuances, enforcement challenges, and strategic considerations that arise when coordinating parallel actions internationally. Focus will be given to the interplay between fraud litigation, insolvency office-holder powers, and cross-border recognition regimes.

Attendees will gain a practical roadmap for designing and executing globally co-ordinated asset recovery strategies, including when and how to deploy the tools available in England and other leading jurisdictions.
