Beyond IP: hot topics in AI disputes

3 Jun 09:00 - 10:30

Artificial Intelligence

Beyond IP: hot topics in AI disputes asks what the next wave of AI litigation will look like and which claims will define the next five years of disputes. We will explore the rapidly evolving legal risks arising from artificial intelligence beyond traditional intellectual property concerns. It examines emerging AI related competition law issues, including market power, data access and algorithmic conduct. It addresses product liability challenges linked to AI systems, including accountability and safety. It also considers a wider set of dispute trends, from allegations of AI washing and misrepresentation to contractual risk allocation. Throughout, the discussion will focus on the practical implications for practitioners, including analysis and evidence required to interrogate AI systems in practice.

Breakfast will be served from 8.30am.
