Challenging Investment Arbitration Awards in Domestic Courts: Cross-Jurisdiction Comparisons From the Frontlines
4 Jun 16:30 - 18:00
Investment arbitration awards are regularly challenged in domestic courts all over the world. Unlike the self-contained, unified ICSID annulment framework, a challenge against an award rendered by a tribunal seated in a domestic jurisdiction may look very different depending on the seat of arbitration. This panel discussion, featuring speakers with extensive experience of ISDS set-aside proceedings in different courts, will discuss and compare how such proceedings play out in practice.
