Counsel in the Age of AI: Autonomy, Advocacy and Adoption
3 Jun 11:30 - 13:00
Artificial intelligence is transforming legal practice across firms, in-house teams and chambers; and yet, many barristers and counsel still work largely independently. As legal technology is increasingly rolled out at an organisational level, are these practitioners being overlooked, and how does adoption look in environments designed for autonomous ways of working?
This invite-only roundtable, held under Chatham House Rule, brings together judges, counsel, solicitors and legal technologists to explore how AI might better support the realities of the role of counsel. From preparing for oral argument to enabling more effective collaboration between individuals and teams, the discussion will examine whether technology can help bridge traditional silos while strengthening the craft of modern advocacy.
