Litigation in the British Virgin Islands: a Judicial Perspective

At this event the Hon. Justice Gerhard Wallbank (Ag) will be speaking on the BVI as an offshore jurisdiction, touching on the work of the Commercial Court, the role of the judge, and the position of the BVI in a wider context. This event offers practitioners an insight into a jurisdiction of considerable global importance.
Justice Wallbank is a Kings Counsel of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court. He recently retired as a full-time judge of the ECSC, having served as the longest serving Judge of the Commercial Court in the Virgin Islands. He is currently sitting on a short term basis.
This will be a hybrid event; remote attendance will be possible, and Justice Wallbank will be speaking by video-link.
