Fraud, asset tracing, and the recovery of digital assets through transforming civil remedies and office-holder powers
4 Jun 11:30 - 13:00
The session will consider how the civil fraud toolkit and insolvency office holder powers can be used in practice to identify, trace and secure cryptoassets and other digital property, including through urgent interim relief and targeted third party disclosure. It will also look at the practical challenges posed by self custody, exchanges and cross border elements, and how practitioners are navigating them. The panel will draw out key strategic lessons and common pitfalls from recent experience.
