It will explore the rise of arbitration in recent years as the preferred forum for large scale construction disputes and consider whether some of the disadvantages of arbitration are encouraging parties to look again at litigation. The panel will consider the recent findings from a roundtable hosted by GAR and the LCIA and explore whether and how the issues raised are also relevant in the context of major construction disputes.
